Margaret Manville

Biography

Margaret Manville is a family doctor (CCFP, UBC 1999) and a Care of the Elderly physician (University of Ottawa, 2002) in Victoria, BC. She has practiced medicine in both rurally and in urban settings, and is currently the medical director for Long-Term Care in Island Health.  She is also the site director for clinical experiences: family practice at UBC’s  Island Medial Program.  Her research interests include Long-Term Care, ALC patients, and de-prescribing.  Her medical education research interest involves the impact of longitudinal student/patient relationships on the professional development of undergraduate students.
