Dr. Gina Ogilvie is the Associate Director of the Division of STI/HIV Prevention and Control and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice. She obtained her medical degree and family practice certification at McMaster University, and then did a fellowship in Population Health at McMaster University. She was on Faculty with the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University and developed expertise in HIV primary care, colposcopy, care for marginalized populations and sexually transmitted diseases. She completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of British Columbia, with a focus on the care of HIV positive women. She has research interests in human papillomavirus, HPV vaccine, STIs and HIV in women and improving access to care for marginalized populations with innovative technologies.
